No way! That means back to work! We closedown (not using our personal entitlements) over Christmas! I finish up on the 21st and dont go back to the 2nd! 8) :P
we get Christmas Day and New Year's Day off. That's it.

Christmas just means work for me. The last straw was two years ago when I put together Christmas, did all the shopping, blah, blah, blah, and there was not one single solitary thing under the tree with my name on it, and there are four other people that live in this house. Not so much as a card. I *despise* Christmas.......
Sorry ...... I have a good family that goes out of the way to make sure I have as much under the tree as everyone else - and me the same with htem ....

We worked a collective agreement at work to give us the closedown and they agreed. With our holidays - we had two days we usually had to open between Christmas and New Year - so they figured it was not worth the problem and was to solve managers nightmares of trying to figure out who to the two days off to - cause everyone wanted it ... now they all want Jan 2 -4

12 inches of freshly fallen snow on the front lawn. I love the peaceful feeling that a good snow storm brings.

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Pinot Noir in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming "WOO HOO"
