You have my sympathy....just know that your beloved Pecan will be watching you from the Rainbow Bridge, and is thankful for such wonderful "masters" while on earth.

Sail on...

Sometimes more than others,
we see who and what and where we are,
I'm just a one man band,
With my feet in the sand,
Tonight I just need my guitar

Thank you all for all your kind words, thoughts and good wishes.

I was reading them with Jackie and it made us feel a little better last night. It's good to share his story, and know others "get it".

Thanks again . . .

That was a really beautiful tribute to your little Pecan.
Thanks for mustering the strength to print that.
I know before the next year has passed, I'll have to do the same thing, and I'm tellying you, I'll be one severe basket case.

You can take comfort in the fact that you KNOW you gave that little guy so many good years and LOVING years, that he wouldn't have had otherwise.
For that, you are a Saint and a person of mercy and compassion.
Thank you again.
Pecan is at peace, in no pain, and there will be a day when you'll be reunited with him.

Condolences from me for your loss.

I have tears in my eyes.....my cat is 20 years old and I have a feeling that sometime in the next year or two, I'll be posting her story. My dog is almost 8 years old so sadness is coming.
