A PIA for the Best Buy people, but funny just the same.

Funny, but I didn't read the whole thing (not that much time to waste) and am wondering what the whole purpose was? Yes, it was funny but what were they trying to prove. Sounds like a college experiment but of what?

This is awesome... I spent 15 years with that company, and I would say MOST of the employees that the same!

I didn't ready the whole thing either, but that's classic!!!!

That is flipping hilarious!!!!

To make it funnier, it would have been funny if one of the main agents yelled out "Improv Unite", and all of these people came together and left the store at the same time. It would have surprised them how many people were actually there.

And also, its not like they were rude or damaged anything, they were just having a fun and comical piece of improv. You don't have to have a reason to do something funny because if thats true, then I'm in big trouble!!!

I first heard of Improv Everywhere a few years ago during a piece on NPR. Yep, they've angered some people but I do love their brand of "guerilla theater". Genius.

Well, it sure gave the Best Buy employees an interesting day and something to talk about at the dinner table. Lot of trouble for little laughage. I used to do funny stuff in college (one small example: I put oregano in a baggie and left it on the floor of the dorm. The house mothers took it to campus security and had it tested, thinking it was marijuana), but I'm older now. I only do the cellophane-over-the-toilet thing every other year. 8)

I've been following their exploits for a few years now. A few miss the mark but many are pure inspired genius. My all time favorite is ...... "Rob!" ..... the "lost" guy at Yankee Stadium. :D

 Ten to one these guys knew more about the products then the staff. I'll bet they didn't try to upsell someone to spend money on the Geek Squad. Besides, I didn't see anyone wearing a Best Buy Logo.

I love this comeback:

A manger told Agent Shafer, “I don’t come to your house and film you,” to which he replied, “Who lives here?”

Employee: “You can’t talk to my customers”.
Simmons: “I’m just having a friendly conversation with these people”
Employee: “But you don’t work here.”
Simmons: “It’s a free country I feel I can speak with anybody I choose.”
Employee: “You’re playing some games.”
Simmons: “I’m just here to shop with my wife.”
Employee: “Yeah, you and your 50 friends?”
Simmons: “I don’t know anybody else here.”
Employee: “Yeah, you’re instigating (sic) our shirts.”

Yes, he said INSTIGATING.
