And on the rare occasion that something does go wrong with the iPod you call Apple, they send you a box, you send it back, they fix it and you get to experience some of the best customer service you will ever receive. Plus they are sexy.
What the customer service?

On a more serious note, I've had my iPod almost two years and haven't had much trouble with it. It works beautifully with my BOSE Sounddock and generally the battery lasts me about 4-6 hours when I use it without charging (Of course I'm playing movies, I could probably easily get about 10 hours if it's just music.)

I have 2 iPods, but I've paid for neither and both still work very well. My first I won in a radio contest and is an old model with the old black and white screen. I've had it for years with no problems. My second iPod is a newer video model. A co-worker was having issues with it and gave up trying to fix it and treated herself to a newer model. She told me that if I could fix it, I could have it. I fixed it and I love it. I think the problem was caused by disconnecting it while it was syncing which you're not supposed to do.
