Re: my avatar
I also use Photobucket & had the same problem. I tried to change my avatar. After submitting, the message read "Url Not Valid". I had to use "direct link" not "img code" @ Photobucket as I usually do. Seems to be working now.barefoothawk wrote:I have deleted my avatar then posted a new one. That's a good place, but don't forget...sunseeker wrote:are trying to post it directly from your computer? you will first need to save it to a picture hosting site and THEN load it as your avatar. I use photobucket.com for my avatars.

You're definately trying to link to the file on your computer instead of somewhere on the Internet. When I look at the properties for what should be your avatar, it shows the url as http://users/guydittmar/destop/photos/m ... 24x768.jpg. It looks like you're trying to upload the image to BN from your computer which won't work. You'll need to use photobucket or something like that and get the url from there. A correct url will have a "www" and a ".com" or the comparable somewhere in it.
