That's the point. We want to cure the hangovers with more alcohol.

Just stay hydrated - have a glass of water for every glass of alcoholic beverage. I almost never get hangovers that way.

just bumping this thread up because I need to have the menu put together by Monday night. So, if you got an alcoholic drink that you need the morning after, let me know what it is and how to make it. Thanks.

Here's one of my favorites:

FRENCH 75

Standard drinkware: flute or Collins glass
Commonly used ingredients: Two parts gin
1 1/2 packets sugar
juice of half a lemon
Champagne

Preparation: Pour a 1 count of Hendricks or Plymouth gin, top with a half flute of sparkling wine or champagne, add sugar (it will fizz up so make sure the flute isn't full yet) then top off with more sparkling wine.

Alternate: Combine sugar, lemon juice, and gin in a shaker full of ice. Shake well, then pour into a tall glass and top with champagne. (If possible, ice the glass ahead of time.)
Notes: cherry or orange slice
YOU CAN'T DRINK ALL DAY IF YOU DON'T START IN THE MORNING

Ah, I heard that Pastis in NYC makes a fine French 75, especially when concocted by Buell, the mixology master. That's a bold and fine hangover cure!!
