I broke my butt when I was a kid. Fell off my bike and landed hard on my butt. Ouch! The doc did nothing.....there's nothing they can do, except manage the pain. So I think an emergency trip to the doc would not be necessary unless you think something else is broken or injured.

Depending on the angle you hit at you could have compressed your spine a bit. You really should have a Doctor take a look at you.

Been there done that. Playing hockey in high school ... had to sit on a pillow for 2 or 3 days it hurt so bad. Felt like a thousand splinters in my a$$! Now some 35 years later I've got a couple of locked vertebrae.

I thank you from the bottom of my butt for your well wishes and not-so-well wishes.

I've decided to sleep on it tonight and decide if I need to go to the Dr. I have enough weathercock, er, I mean percocet (from my lovely herniated disc several months ago) that I can use to tide me by until it is more convenient to go to the doctor (read that as when I can make hubby take me instead of going by myself and milk all the sympathy for my sore ass I can get).

He won't be back until late tonight, but he has promised a warm booty rub nonetheless.
