Players from the Yankees teams of 1996-2000LIPH wrote:A columnist from the NY Post says there are 22 current or former Yankees on the list. So was Joe Torre really that good a manager or did the Yankees just have a better pharmacist than the rest of the teams in the major leagues?
Roger Clemens - starting pitcher took steroids while on the Yankees
Andy Pettitte - starting pitcher took steroids while on the Yankees
Chuck Knoblauch - 2B and leadoff hitter didn't start using until 2001
Jason Grimsley - no-nothing middle reliever
David Justice - midseason pickup in 2000*
Glenallen Hill - midseason pickup/backup in 2000 - purportedly took roids with the Giants in 1995-97
Denny Neagle - crappy 5th starter and another midseason pickup in 2000
Mike Stanton - didn't meet with Radomski until 2001
*Justice apparently was sold HGH after the 2000 WS. He has denied it pointing to his 2001 stats, which was a huge downgrade from 2000 and only played in 110 games or so
Outside of Clemens and Pettitte, none of those guys either made a difference while juicing or didn't juice while with the Yankees. And it's not exactly like your Metsies were angels. Radomski after all worked with the Mets. Come on Larry, that's too easy.
Sometimes more than others,
we see who and what and where we are,

With my feet in the sand,
Tonight I just need my guitar

I don't know if it's a friggin' straight jacket or not. As good as she looks in it, she'd look better with it off entirely.BottleofRum wrote:She is a butter face...Wino you know wrote:At least Jorge Posada has a wife who's SMOKIN' A$$ hot.
what is she weariing? a straight jacket?
And she can sit on MY butter face anytime.
Personally, I'd drink a pint of her p*ss just to see where it came from.

Andy Pettitte, admits to HGH use. Kind of a odd statement he released though:
"...If what I did was an error in judgment on my part, I apologize...."
Now it even looks worse for Clemens who has denied everything. The same guy who implicated Pettitte also implicated Clemens. Are we suppose to believe he was right about one and not the other? This guy was Clemens personal trainer with Toronto and came to NY with him and he had far greater detail about Clemens than he did with Pettitte. Pettitte confirmed the guys story? Come on Roger, for once check your ego and fess up.

I hope Clemens now gets the same treatment Bonds got. He is just as guilty if not worse. Bonds is a certified ass -- hole and Clemens by all accounts isn't but that shouldn't change things.Tequila Revenge wrote:BottleofRum wrote:Andy Pettitte, admits to HGH use. World Class Sh!tweasel.
Part of Bonds treatment was arguable racial but now, race aside it is time to throw Clemens and Bonds into the same boat.

A lot of Red Sox fans and former team mates of Roger would disagree - Roger always has been an A**HOLE!!BottleofRum wrote:I hope Clemens now gets the same treatment Bonds got. They were very aware of his weakness, and tolerated it. They only turned against him when he tried being something he wasn't. After two years there, he thought he was Derek Jeter II, and you don't have to tell any Yankee fan that just wasn't the case.
