Wow! :o To an uncoordinated person throwing those bayonets around like that is pretty amazing.

They seem to like to pat themselves on the butt a lot

My hubby did that with the Pershing Rifles drill team in college. They won the National competition his senior year. He still has the scar on the side of his face! :o

We've seen the Marine 8th and I Drill Team.....send chills up my spine every time!! 8)
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Pinot Noir in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming "WOO HOO"

I saw them here in Rockefeller Plaza a few years ago. Aside from being amazed at what they do, the thing I remember most is they all looked about 15 years old.

I saw them once at a pre-airshow party. It was cool because there wasn't a peep out of the people watching so it was even more dramatic.

Very cool

Irish Pirate & I used to compete in drill team contest when we were younger, for the American Legion, we had to do a lot of those moves, she was a sabre and I was a rifle. It kept you in great shape... 8)
