I have Cafe Du Monde in my cabinet, however, I usually go Dunkin Donuts and get a French Vanilla, milk and sugar. Anyone try the Eggnog Latte from Starbucks? I have been enjoying it very much this holiday season.

I like my coffee strong. I brew a mug of espresso every morning, yeah the big mug and I don't water it down with cream or sugar. I use Starbuck$$ Verona blend when I brew. For a change of pace I'll buy the Sumatra.

Some very good regular coffees

Alto Grande - Puerto Rican Coffee it is a very good premium coffee both brewed and in espresso. Difficult to find in the states.

Pilon - Another Puerto Rican Coffee. Very Smooth. I like it drip brewed better than espresso. This can be found pretty easily in the US. I think BJ's sells it even.

My wife has family that grew coffee in PR. They used to give us green beans and we would roast our own. It was fun to roast and brew. It wasn't as good as the processed stuff. We probably were not roasting properly, but it was still better than most store bought stuff.

I've been buying Dunkin Donuts ground coffee since they started selling it. We've tried grinding it ourselves, but the noise at that time of the morning woke the whole house before we were ready to deal with them. Mostly we buy french vanilla flavor.

I can't stand it. And I've been known to drink a cup of coffee or 2 in my life....

Seattle's Best, Post Alley....It's a dark, French Roast...love it!

Sumatra is also a good one.....(Didn't someone mention this one?)

I used to order my coffee online from Costa Rica for about 2 yrs.....Until I found out my friend Cheri can get the same coffee there and send it to me...and it only cost her $1 a lb to buy it there...... She lives there half the year and always brings me back a lot of coffee... 8)

Ravens Brew is good too...Ebony Pearls is my favorite...and their Breakfast Blend is good too....

I don't do flavored coffee's or creamers....blech. I like coffee flavored coffee.....

But Mal, it takes literally 45 seconds to grind your own beans- you scoop the coffee with the grinder lid, dump them in, lock the lid and push the button. It's so worth it! And that's with the el cheapo Target grinder, not even a nice burr grinder that also stores the beans.
+1

I buy the store brand loose beans and grind them myself.
I have never looked back.

Edited to add: Oh, yeah. This stuff is pretty good...

I would recommend whole beans and milling them each day as well.

We use:

www.bluemountaincoffee.com

Jamaica blue mountain cofee, also Seattle Best is a good one.

I love Starbucks, cafe mocha lowfat, yummy. If I am out and about, I will grab one of them without all the whip cream and extra sugary stuff.

Oh and they also make a Christmas blend that is yummy, you can try a small bag and see if you like it.

Enjoy,

Jeanie

And Baby's is a regular stop on the way in and out of KW at MM15. :) Yes, they are that good.

We're getting quite a few Tim Horton's opening in Michigan lately. Even our lil ol' town opened one a couple of weeks ago.
