What coffee do you buy?

I'm just wondering what everyone buys to make coffee at home. I usually just drink the coffee in my office during the week, which is fine. I'm certainly no coffee snob. I grew up with Folgers is that is what my mom drinks, but I definitely prefer the ground, bagged coffees at the grocery store rather than a traditional coffee brand from my momma's era.

We're just about to finish off the bag of Seattle's Best Breakfast Blend (yes, Don, the bag we bought at the grocery store) because I'm on a bit of a coffee kick (I'm weaning myself of Pepsi).

I don't want to grind my own beans and want to be able to get it at my grocery store.

Suggestions?

We buy Eight O Clock coffee, hazelnut flavor, it does come in whole beans but the store we purchase from has a grinder right there so it doesn't leave the store ungrinded, unless my wife has a blonde moment

I'm hooked on Baby's from Key West. I have it delivered pretty much every other month now. Whole bean. One of the best purchases we've made is the Cuisinart grind and brew coffee maker. Granted, I think we are on our third in 10 years or so, but we do use it pretty much everyday and there is a difference in the flavor.

Coffee along with Tums and alcohol are the three major food groups for us traveling sales scum, so I DO take my coffee pretty seriously. Seattle's Best is great stuff. I like the darker French Roast or Italian Roast coffee's. We typically by those blends from Trader Joe's. Not sure if it's California business, but there's this coffee company called Pete's that is FANTASTIC.

You might be surprised how grinding and pressing a cup of java can make a big difference too.

I spend enough time baking bread from scratch, no time for grinding my own coffee. If I have time to grind, it's gonna be my husband.

I never had Tim Horton's until I was in Erie back in July, we don't have them here. That's some good stuff.

Now to answer the question, I don't buy coffee because I never drink it at home.

I prefer 100% arabica beans (also known as Hawaiin blend :-) )- much smoother and less bitter. Maxwell House now makes it :-)

But if Folgers is on sale - I stock up on that too :D :D

The coffee I buy to drink at home is the 100% Kona coffee (from Hawaii), and NOTHING ELSE.

For the office, we all give the ladies about $15.00 a week and they bring in Folgers or Maxwell House, coffee filters, and the creme and sugar (for those who don't like their coffee au naturel).

When I'm on the road, I'll drink whatever the house brand is at whatever convenience store I stop at.
(And never EVER go to starbucks). (EVER).
I like Starbucks about as much as Larry likes Landsh*t beer.

I also love Tim Horton's coffee, but I haven't been to Ontario lately. :(

Dunkin Donuts....especially when it is on sale at Target. :D

Don Francisco's espresso blend is pretty good too. If Peets or Seattle's Best is on sale I will buy that too, or Caribou. But DD is my current fave.

I was never much of a coffee drinker until about 10 years ago. Now..I must have my coffee! I do buy the whole beans though and actually enjoy grinding them every morning. I buy the big bags of Hawaiian Blend Hazelnut at Sams.

Hubby brought back some really gooood coffee from his trip to Roatan, Honduras earlier this year...I went through that in no time! :D :D :D

We buy whatever's Fair Trade certified at Costco.

But Mal, it takes literally 45 seconds to grind your own beans- you scoop the coffee with the grinder lid, dump them in, lock the lid and push the button. It's so worth it! And that's with the el cheapo Target grinder, not even a nice burr grinder that also stores the beans.
