I tried all of those. Volunteered for all kinds of extra work. (safety warden, new computer coordinator, etc etc.) They just smiled and gave me more crap to do.l No raise, no promotion Nada!

Near the end of my career I started wearing Aloha shirts to work every day and marking off the days on my calendar till I retired...and I got a promotion :lol:
