It would be a shame to go all the way to Gruene, and bag out in your hotel room...

Staying home as usual.
I'll probably make a pizza & watch some old movies.

I have New Year's Day off from work, but I'll make myself available for overtime should any of the young studlies decide to be "sick."

One thing I won't be doing is going to Times Square to watch the ball drop. I did it once, about 8 or 9 years ago, and once is more than enough.

Last year I was so sick with strep throat on NYE, I was barely well enough to watch Dicks' ball drop with the family. Sometimes we go to one of Matt's buddies for a party, but I don't know if we are this year or not.

Might hang out with our neighbors who we always have lots of fun with and let Victoria invite a friend over for a sleepover.

I'll probably "go out" but someplace close that has a simple cover and not too much for drinks (maybe a live band, etc.)

However I think next year I'll try the "Vegas" experience and see if it's worth doing again. (Been to Vegas many times, but NOT on NYE)

Mon, it is an experience that should not be missed, esp if you go with several friends. When we were there, lots of amateur drunks and huge crowds, so you were packed in like sardines. I am glad that I did it, as it was on my list of things to do, just wouldn't do it again. It's quite exciting to see the ball drop live in Times Square, really.
