Down to the last couple of hours of work pre-vacation. I've got virtually everything done that needs to be done (I think - I hope - I pray), except for writing the CYA status email to my boss and turning in a timesheet.

Got the suitcase out last night and started tossing things into it.

Tomorrow is packing, burning a few last live CDs, getting my lists and paperwork together, and kidnapping the cat and taking him off to storage, er, boarding.

Wednesday 7 AM: Plane leaves the gate.

I was looking at someone's Keys beach photos earlier today, and feeling *very* nostalgic - that color of water just doesn't exist in many places.
