I am starting to do something at work where I write a thought of the day. Today is the first day and it's a big hit. I would like to go with wise words from Buffett. Today I used the lyrics " wrinkles only go where the smiles have been" can you guys help out and give me some examples to use. Thanks!

Not to be cynical or anything, but...

"There's no free ride in this carnival world."

Some people never find it, some only pretend
But me, I just want to live happily ever after
Every now and then.

Does a co-written song count?

If so ... then, I submit ...

Sometimes more than others
You see who and what and where you are.

If not, my second choice is ...

It's been a lovely cruise

Okay, I'm full of JB sayings. Here goes...

"Everyone loves a winner"
"We are the people our parents warned us about"
"Life and ink run out at the same time"
"Live a lie and you'll live to regret it" (may be Twain)
"I wanted more than one until I found the one I wanted"
"It was too much tequila, or not quite enough"
"Deep in the winter even hold-out leaves start fallin'"
"Only time will tell if I am right or I am wrong"
"Make the best of a bad situation's 'bout all you can do"
"You think you're too smart to be dumb"
"The more we learn the less we know"
"Fiction over fact always gets my vote"
"It's a dang fool husband that doesn't spring for his wife"
"Just remember, there's no rewind and no replay"
"A PBS mind in an MTV world"
"Need is a relative thing"
'It's time to check the crabtrap of life once more"
"Our heads are in the oven and somebody's bound to strike a match"
"Things are getting as serious as cholesterol"
"Stop trying to make impressions on your corporate climb"
"Every now and then the dragons come to call"

Shall I continue?

This one has actually helped me in the past

"Yesterday's over my shoulder, so I can't look back for too long
There's just too much to see, waiting in front of me and I know that I just can't go wrong"

or

"If it doesn't work out there'll never be any doubt that the pleasure was worth all the pain"

Destiny can set in motion
Ripples that turn into swells

maybe it’s because in spite of all the work we do,
It’s the child in us we really value

If you want to branch out to Mac and Peter, you also get:

"No amount of talking can change a mind that's been made up." (Mac)

and

"Sometimes it's just a smile that makes your day, sometimes a song can save your life." (Peter)

Life is just a Tire Swing

Count all your blessings and remember your dreams

Give me oysters and beer for dinner every day of the year and I'll feel fine

Kinda hate to do this to a newbie, but welcome to BN, vineslandshark.

If you stick around long enough you'll see we like to have fun around here...

Hey, let's all take our clothes off
and form a conga line
Watch out for that broken glass,
hey Snake, we need more wine!
