I am going to splurge. $1200 is a bit steep but I never went to a JB concert ate and drank for free all night and saw 40 other celebrities as well as JB up close and personal.Catch&Release wrote:$1,200 to see Jimmy do a handful of songs? Maybe....![]()
Save your money and wait for an event like the Anguilla or Paris shows where he does an entire concert. Anguilla was too big for him to do a "meet and greet" (other than for a very lucky few who got to see the Friday "beach band" show) but he did sign autographs at the Paris show.
Paying $1200 to go to a "party" with no guarantee of who will be there is crazy, in my opinion. $1200 may get you Rupert Holmes - the pina colada song guy, instead of Bubba himself, in my opinion.

pppsssssssssssssssshhhhhhhhhhhhhh....the Superbowl about football?????RinglingRingling wrote:Time was, I remember when the Superbowl was actually about the game itself, and not the comings and goings of people and companies with no connection to the game other than the ability to get reserved tickets through NFL connections.

If you want to go eat and drink for free(?) all evening and mingle with celebs who are mostly football players, that's a-okay. But if you expect to see non-sports celebs, that's unlikely, according to the celebrity list. Margaritaville isn't hosting the party, MSM is. JB isn't on the guaranteed celebrity list and so isn't even guaranteed to be there at all! But if he is there, you're not even guaranteed a few seconds of "Hello, Jimmy. How are you?" discussion. The party is 300 minutes long and it looks like M'Ville capacity is 500. The chance that you might not meet JB at all is not remote. There's no guarantee JB will sing, but if he does it'll likely be Margaritaville, Cheeseburger, etc. And if you know and accept all that, and you want to go have a good time and toss some money at charities, great! But if you're expecting a cool "Jimmy Buffett Experience" you might well be disappointed.....rachelha_3 wrote:I am going to splurge. $1200 is a bit steep but I never went to a JB concert ate and drank for free all night and saw 40 other celebrities as well as JB up close and personal.Catch&Release wrote:$1,200 to see Jimmy do a handful of songs?
