So, there's a 7:30pm show and a 10pm show... early show is sold out, but there are seats available for the late one.ejr wrote:Just a heads up that the Chicago show is almost sold out---bought my tickets last night and couldn't believe how few seats were left!Tiki Bar wrote:I'm sure I will...PalmTreeGal wrote:Tiki - Are you going to the Jake show in Chicago on 04/26? It's listed twice but it appears to be the same except one is for balcony seats and the other is for floor seats.Too close to home, to even think about missing!
I'd prefer to take my keet to the early one... did anyone get 2 tix for the early show, but would happen to rather go to the late one?
I guess 1st thing I need to know is if they mailed 'hard' tickets, or if it's a ticket window / show id and cc thing... I don't remember from a couple years back.
Muchas gracias! And maybe I'll see you there!

I don't have my tickets in hand, so I guess they are in Will Call. And I think that was the case when the 3 of use went a few years ago.Tiki Bar wrote:So, there's a 7:30pm show and a 10pm show... early show is sold out, but there are seats available for the late one.ejr wrote:Just a heads up that the Chicago show is almost sold out---bought my tickets last night and couldn't believe how few seats were left!Tiki Bar wrote:I'm sure I will...PalmTreeGal wrote:Tiki - Are you going to the Jake show in Chicago on 04/26? I figured as much, as there aren't ANY listings anywhere for tickets to the 7:30p show... bummer.
Decision time... wait and keep trying, or buy now for the later show?
I'm guessing it's a 1.5 hour show, if they allow .5 hour for signings, then getting the 1st show crowd out before letting the 2nd show crowd in. I wonder if it's a 50/50 split on the time, or since I read he's "opening" for Sarah Lee Guthrie & Johnny Irion, if his time might be half hour at the most? hmmm... what to do?

When you and I and Q&S saw him, Loudon Wainright was the main act and Jake was the opening. This time Jake is the main act. And I remember that we went to the late show, and that the early show was just letting out as we were trying to find parking in the rain.Tiki Bar wrote:I figured as much, as there aren't ANY listings anywhere for tickets to the 7:30p show... bummer.

I called them yesterday and they told me they only had tickets for the late show. How did you get tickets for the early show? I'd really like to go.Tiki Bar wrote:Yep! Dumb luck... they told me they didn't have any when I called earlier in the week, but I'm glad I decided to give it another shot!PalmTreeGal wrote:I called them yesterday and they told me they only had tickets for the late show. How did you get tickets for the early show? I'd really like to go.
