What is everyone doing to kick off the first weekend of 08? I will be enjoying a cocktail at 5:00 on the dot, and then voyaging off to a birthday party at which there will be lots of delicious Italian food....mmm.

no wine

had to start a diet on Jan 1st

Next weekend we're going to KC to catch Marcia Ball and stop by Costco and DSW Shoes - bascially the first journey to mecca at the start of the new year - who needs Black Eyed Peas!? When you can have shoes and new electronics?!

I'll probably go the 14th, it's a Friday and I'll already be in NYC for work. BB King's is really convenient for me too, it's about halfway between my office and Penn Station.
