How hard did you try him and does that have anything to do with your degree of soreness?

Most parrotheads try to compare him and Jimmy which they are not to be compared, two different artists, two different styles and both love the island life get-away just like Sammy Hagar.

Thats just wrong-- Sammy is NOT COUNTRY. Even though I LOVE COUNTRY MUSIC, and have seen Sammy Countless times. He does not need to be touring with Kenny "I am a total fraud" Chesney. Its just wrong. Sammy needs to keep on rocking. Saw him a year or two ago, and he had Eric Johnson with him, damn what a pair. Michael Anthony on Bass, you can get any drummer, and you will have a better 2nd incarnation of Van Halen/Hagar.
You saw ERIC JOHNSON with Sammy!!!!???? That dude is FREAKIN' Awesome!!! 8)
Yeap, Eric opened for him. Brought him out for Finish What You Started--- and Eric did a 5 min guitar solo that would make Eddie look like he was Barney the Dinosaur.

Was that part of the G3tour? Missed the round with EJ but saw the Sat man, Steve Vai & Kenny Wayne Shepherd.
Caught EJ at a small 1500 seat venue and had awesome seats. Unbelievably mesmerising!!

I also got to see Kenny Wayne at a theater near my old work location. Me and a co-worker went... Think we had something like 7th row or something--- dude can play a mean guitar, but can't sing to save his life

Love it and it's even more "tropical" than previous stuff.

I know it's been said before and probably by me but I'd love to see Jimmy and Sammy do something together.
I've been jonesing for this for a while. The Tequila Time Tour, a tropical partypalooza! Jimmy and Sammy with special guests like the Beach Boys, Dick Dale, Jake and a few other party/fun/good time acts. A full day event with food tents, drink stations, it would be a blast!

I've often thought of trying to pull something like this together on a much smaller scale. I think we could get 4-5 trop rockers to play a weekend. I just have to find a place to hold it...my back yard is not quite big enough. :D

I love this album. I kept finding myself singing "Mexico" while on vacation there.

I love "One Sip" and "Let Me Take You There". This CD has become a mainstay of the FlemingoKey Tiki bar.

...and subtract The Beach Boys. I like them but the touring version is pretty much a joke these days.
