Missouri, outside of St. Louis, KC, Columbia, etc., what they will do is 'sell' you "set ups", i.e. glass, ice, stirrers, and you bring your own and mix the drink. Parts of Kentucky, including surprisingly enough, some places where the best Bourbon is actually made, are the same way.
Almost all states don't allow open liquor in the car. You have to carry it in the trunk.

Wine is the only BYO permitted in NS, and there is a corking fee charged by the restaurant.

Pa allows beer and wine, lots of restaurants in our area do this, they can't afford the liquor license, which is very hefty in Pa, and there are only so many available.

We still have Wine and spirit stores for our booze, can't go to a grocery store and get liquor, beer or wine.

I do not know if i could live like that. Out here, in some gas stations, you can buy beer, wine, and HARD LIQUOR. The ones who sell hard liquor usually have a 2 or 3am cut off time though.

Ditto :D :D if it's hard liquor it goes in a flask and concealed, beer and wine are fine, the establishment provides glasses, cork screws ect...

I rarely see anything other then wine and beer. They provide glasses, cork screw, and ice if you ask. They don't want you drinking from the containers, ie bottles. I have a couple friends who keep little bottles in their purse and buy what they want to put them in. They're a bit discreet about it. I don't think it's illegal but they just don't seem to flaunt doing it.

I guess you get used to it   . We make our purchases in advance, and if you want an extra six pack, you can get one in a bar on the way home.

Isn't very prevalent in CO at all.. but it was maybe 25 years ago. :)

Gas stations don't sell any kind of alcohol.

Liquor stores are not open on Sundays.

But you can get 3.2% in grocery stores.

That's why we always stock up at good liquor stores Monday - Saturday. :D

And only go to restaurants and bars that serve us their stuff. :D

If my recollection of trivial nonsense is correct, all of Bourbon County, KY is dry. So after you're done touring the distilleries, you have to drive to another county to buy it.
