ohh yeah Jimmy wouldnt be s*** without us......all the money we've spent to go to his concerts....books....CD's/ tapes

Yes, every time this has aired, some people are offended and the discussion starts. Most of us took it as a joke but yet a semi-true story.

Jimmy qualified that by saying all the extreme Parrot Heads should get a life . . . but most just come out to the shows for a good time . . .
it is not a big deal. I think he was referring to those who do everything they can to try to meet him . . . obsession versus hobby type thing.

He's also said in the past that he wonders why people come to see his show and not other big acts that he considers to be better than a Buffett show. So I think his comment is more of an insult to himself, along with saying he really doesn't think he is a good musician, just adequate.

Sarcasm doesn't translate when typing on a message board. My panties are far from being in a bunch about it.
I do still plan on making at least 3 shows this summer. PLanning and execution are 2 different realms however.

I absolutely understand his get a life references. I don't think it is intended as an insult to fans at all. Just those people that "report" where he is, when he is, what he ate etc. No biggie
