LOL! I thought the same thing!! Wonder what Simon "would really have said" if he had to critique Dolly's performance!
As for Ramiele being voted out - about time, what took you all so long (can't vote here in Canada so we have to rely on our friends down south to do it for us).
Toronto (x7)
Las Vegas (x3)
Tampa Bay (x2)
Orlando (x2)
New York (x1)
New Orleans (x1)

Agreed.
I was sort of fiddling around and flipping back and forth with Criminal Minds and then... Oh Dolly!!! That was pretty scary!!
Ahhhh, I love my DVR!!!
I am still resisting the DVR. I think that I watch too much tv already and don't want to make it worse.
Personally, I am happy with the TV off entirely most of the time, but Mr. OttoCal is one of those who has to have it on at all times. On weekends it's a race to see who gets downstairs first controls our noise level for the day (TV or none or stereo), and if I win, it is a fun game to see how long he can hold out with no TV
He won't stay in the same room when AI is on (or Amazing Race, or the Jane Austen series that has been on PBS this spring), so he will go find sports to watch on the other TV. That's another fun game we play. This one gets the bonus side game of 'who gets the cat' while watching the divisive TV shows. Apparently, the cat likes Jane Austen, but not American Idol.

Ditto that
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body,
but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up,totally worn out, and proclaiming,
“Wow, what a ride!!!”

yea...I confused on that one!!!
Like them kicking off Daughtry ....
Honestly, if I was on Idol, I don't think I'd want to win. You're locked into that contract, and the only winner that's had really any success is Kelly Clarkson.

I dunno...I think Carrie Underwood is holding her own...but no one other than those 2 for sure....

For some reason I thought she didn't win, but got second... I've never really watched other than this season, there was usually better stuff on tv, but not this year...
