I think that helped her - not sure how much as they originally had Amanda and then Kristy Lee but it might have helped save her for a week.

As for the poll - unfortunately being in Canada I cannot vote for American Idol so I have to rely on my southern friends to cast their votes!

I think it is time for Brooke and Jason to go, then Syesha can go and leave the s Davids for the finale and for David Cook's sake I hope he finishes second and can cut an album how he wants and not have to be "totally" controlled by AI/Clive Davis.

Finish near the top has done wonders for Chris Daughtry and not too shabby for Kellie Pickler, Clay Aiken and Elliot Yamin. Not too good for winners like Taylor Hicks and Reuben Studdard.

That site really took off when they backed Sanjaya Malakar and he went a long way (I think he finished 6th or 7th) so votes from that site plus all the "tweeny girls" gave him notoriety (and he was definitely not a good singer!).

And Dial Idol did correctly predict Carly as going off last night. I haven't kept up with any of their other ratings though yet. They do some mumbo-jumbo statistical analysis of busy signals to rank who had more calls.

The more entertaining part of Vote for the Worst is the weekly recaps of the shows, with brutal but often spot on critiques.

Yep, Paula's drunk again. Be sure to watch right about 1/2 way through the show between the first & second sets of songs

I'm the complete opposite......I enjoyed Brooke and Jason.......Syesha was OK.

I just can't stand the two David's.......

Wow - we all have differing opinions on the contestants (guess that is why they "count the votes"). :)

I found Neil Diamond week on AI ok - not spectacular in any means but some good performances.

I ranked the contestants in this order for this week:

1) David Cook
2) Syesha Mercado
3) David Archuleta
4) Brooke White
5) Jason Castro

I did not like either of Jason's performances and I did not like Brooke's first (sounded worse than "Shrek" singing it!).

For me Jason should be going home but if it is Brooke that is ok with me too (she could have gone last week too).

If we could vote out a judge - Paula would definitely be on her way after last night! She should never take up any job that requires fast-thinking (firefighter, paramedic, ER nurse, EMT, etc) - we would all die!!

I hope Brooke goes tonight. Second choice to go would be Jason Castro. As for Paula, that melt down last night was priceless.

Brooke or Jason would be my pick. Although don't be too surprised if Syesha is in the bottom two.

Well, I'll just say that Dial Idol's predicted #1 vote getter for tonight was a surprise to me. I thought it would be one of the ones in danger...

She also called Syesha the wrong name (Brooke)when giving her her comments. I love watching train wrecks

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Pinot Noir in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming "WOO HOO"

I didn't watch most of it, but the parts I saw were pretty "meh". I could do without Neil Diamond. Of course, I'm not really a fan of Neil Diamond singing Neil Diamond songs.

I just don't get all the hype about David Archuleta.....I can't understand why they are all pushing for him.

He has an alright voice.....if he was doing broadway or something. He just sings flat, IMHO.

David Cook can sing.....but he comes off as EXTREMELY cocky......and that just turns me off to him.
