The Giants have won 9 straight road games, including the 2 playoff games. Their only road loss was opening day against the Cowboys.

And the Packers only have one home loss.

Could go either way . . . duh! But I admit when I am wrong and Eli has shown he can get it done . . . WHEN IT COUNTS

I just like what I see with the Giants Defense so I picked them . . .
Keeping in mind, of course, that Eli did that against Dallas's defense, which is weak in the secondary; while the Packers have, arguably, the best secondary in football....Even the "weak link" of the Packers defense, Atari Bigbee, was named NFC Defensive Player of the Month for December!!!

Eli will be 6-23 passing for 72 yards and 2 picks.

If that is dead on . . . not a yard or completion off . . . I will drive to Wisconsin and wash your car.

Just look at what a "Good" QB did against the Pack on Saturday...

Matt Hasselback: 19-33, 194, 1TD, 0 Int.

Most people would agree that, right now, Hasselback is 5x the QB that Eli is...

With the late start time in Green Bay on Sunday they are saying temps could be close to zero by the second half. High of 12 low of 5... I think the would favor NY with their pounding running game.

The weather for Foxboro isn't much better High 16 low 8....

Combined Green Bay and Foxboro may not reach the freezing point Sunday.

So I guess the fact that Tampa and New England have two of the best D's in the league means nothing. He may not be throwing for a lot of yards, but he's got 7 TDs and 1 INT in his last 3 games, and his QB rating has been at least 117 in the last 3 games. I've been hard on Eli when he's down, but you have to give him credit that he's played very well and very smart the past few weeks.

Oh I agree but that is not the point . . . 6 - 23 . . . 72 yards and 2 picks you get a car wash . . . [smilie=coolup.gif]

Not a fan of either team. But Favre and the Packers will be too much for Eli Manning and the Giants. Plus the home field tundra won't hurt either!

Heaven forbid they fall to #5 in the defensive rankings.

And while we're on the subject of great defense, New England's defense was ranked 4th, Tampa's was ranked 2nd, and Dallas' was ranked 9th. Green Bay's D is outside the top 1/3 at 11

No disrespect meant to the Chargers or Giants . . .

but IF it is the Packers and the Pats . . . inside on that field in Arizona made for high powered offenses like the Pats I wonder how the Packers' defense will play it . . . the Cover 2 Dime does not work and that is what Brady has seen all year . . .

If the Pats play in the Super Bowl, I don't think it will be possible to keep them under 35 points on that field . . .

I don't know about sucks. But it is weak in areas. Say, for example, the Red Zone. You know, the one area that you really want to make a strong defensive stand.

funny how that flaw improved dramtically when Richard Seymour and Rodney Harrison came back.

I'm gonna pick the Packers in this one. The Giants have played tough lately, but I think the Packers offense will be just a bit too much for the Giants to handle.

I know the Giants are on some kind of weird magical streak on the road, but I think it ends in GB. The injuries continue to mount up, and the days lost traveling hurt game planning and practice.

It was pointed out Sunday that GB is the youngest team in the NFL. The Pats had that same distinction when they won their first SB.
