Not impressed with the show much either . . . but I do love the crowd and the party . . . and, atleast last year, the tickets are way cheaper than Buffett so I figure why not be part of a carribean themed country/ rock show that brings in 70,000 people ready to party for a day . . . while I wait for my 2 - 4 Buffett shows?

Just a fun thing to do. And, to be honest, Chesney has 3 or 4 songs that I actually like! :D

I am passing, not a fan of those large stadium shows.

If he was in a small intimate setting, maybe.

For me it all about the tail gate. If we can get my brother in law to bring his RV again and have a crowd it should be fun.

Catch&Release wrote:If each stadium seats min 50,000 and he plays 14 shows, that's 700,000 tickets sold.

And many of those stadiums seat way more than 50,000. If tickets average $75 each times 700,000, that's over $50,000,000, even before t shirt sales.

You may not like his music, but I can see why he has a house on St. Johns. :-?

$75 is dirt cheap.

Considering who else plays with him in Chicago..... If Brooks and Dunn are there, and who ever else... I may consider paying 500 bucks, and leaving half way though the frauds set.

FYI, these are only the stadium shows. If you notice there are huge gaps between the shows. They will fill in the rest of the shows after these sell out.

Usually 2 in grand rapids, and a rumor about a show in Chattanooga just to name a few

I was thinking about going....but I wasn't thrilled with Philly for the Buffett show in '05. I love the city, but not really impressed with the venue for a concert. Nice baseball stadium though.
