"why do I get the feeling you are the type of person who could s*** the fun out of anything like a fat kid draining a Twinkie's center?

sheeesh."

I'm as fun loving as the next guy. But I have a better question. I didn't start this discussion. But I'm the only one who gets hammered when I tried to help answer the question about James W. Buffett. Why don't you jump the original poster? Good grief.

And BTW, this Buffett's Boss didn't have to answer the questions. I don't see anybody complaining about him/her.

Final thought. Don't ask if you don't want to know.

memo to moderator. Do not allow any posts with regard to whether a poster might be Jimmy. There ya go. problem solved.

my 2 cents - Yeah, Jimmy lurks, he's a computer geek afterall. Prolly wakes up at 2 am with nothin to do and decides to take a peek.

See ya in the ole'st.barts Jimmy!

"But why the rum?"
Hi Minty. How are you?
Been a while, how are you? I'm freaking awesome. Loving the weather.

When you coming?
Not sure. Trying to convince my sister to go there and hopefully AFTER hurricane season. How's business?
If you want an experience, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.

Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

Life is short, live long!!

I'd rather be a wiseass than a dumbass.

you want to find out the answer to that question, one that evidently bothers you so, fine. How about, unless someone actually asks you, you don't have to feel the need to share how clever you are? and then, preferably, you don't post it in open forums for reasons previously stated in the thread.

you keep coming back to it, doing the "look at me, I am so clever" routine.

It doesn't matter. Even if you prove it this time, all you accomplish is burning the guy and driving him off. So then what, you start looking again? all that does is, if you are successful, probably drive him off for good. Then, you can walk around with a puffed ego for having figured out two secrets that, when revealed, just made the board a bit less for everyone else.

Hence, the fat kid sucking the center out of a Twinkie remark. The kid isn't doing it because he's thinking it's bad to pack on another couple thousand empty calories.. he's doing it because it is fun, without any consideration of the long term...

Well if I've spoiled someone's fun I aplogize.

Again, I wasn't the one that asked. Ego? You definitely got the wrong guy. I don't really consider myself too clever either.

Like I said, I'm backing off if you didn't see that before. I can't take the heat. You convinced me. Later.

I'm still wondering how the topic of Landshark Lager gets into almost every thread on BN....... :o

Wait just a minute, could that be our final evidence that JB himself is actually here among us??????? [smilie=hello.gif]

The answer was right in front of us all along...... [smilie=dunce.gif]

How many of you really think he looks/reads from time to time?
Hey, everybody, it's me... "the original poster" of this topic. I didn't realize there would be such a hoopla about the subject. My apologies. As you see in my above quote, I was posing the question out of sheer curiosity as to whether or not some people "think" Jimmy reads or posts on BN.
Let's just leave it at a "YES" and all be happy about it.
Thanks.
