If he played all those songs consecutively, I could go back out to the parking lot to continue the tailgate.
But then again, I'd miss half the show.
I haven't heard Glory Days live so I am not sure there..
but Garry??

when
Scarlett Begonias is playing..

I don't have a BRB song. I stay in my seat (or at least, in the VACINITY of my seat  ) for the entire show. You never know what may happen at any given point during a show, and I always have the feeling of, "what if this is the last time I'll be able to see Jimmy? Do I want to miss 5-10 minutes just because the song he's performing isn't necessarily one of my favorites?"

So, I "suffer" through songs like CIP, BEG, Margaritaville, WDWGDAS, etc. in the hopes that I may see or hear something I've never seen or heard before at a Buffett performance. :D

Funny thing with Elton John, who I LOVE and see all the time, I go during Rocket Man cause its not one of my fave's and he does a long solo every time. Everyone gets out of the restrooms when they hear it and I usually get back before its over.
Totally mine too.

I only wish I could get my tickets at "face value".......

Bladder control at broker's prices definitely puts a different look on one's "face" :o

P. S. Had to comment on the picture of the power boat in your posts. There are alternative docking & anchoring techniques available to boaters, though I must admit that boat isn't going to drift away......

Brown eyed girl. I like it when he closes with that song so I can beat the traffic getting out of the lot.

Cheeseburger now that WDWGDAS has ben forever retired. :D I don't mind it as it is a nice time to get another round. :pirate:

I used to get bored during Margaritaville but, after hearing Jimmy say "It's time we planted the flag of Margaritaville here on Anguilla" it caused me to pause at that point on the Anguilla CD and once again actually hear the lyrics. Even tough it's one of the most played songs - it sums it up so well (as does CILCIA - another Yellow Album song)

Plus u can see me and my girl dancin during Margaritaville on the Anguilla DVD, so can't dislike that one anymore.

Jimmy Buffett - Margaritaville Lyrics

Nibblin' on sponge cake,
watchin' the sun bake;
All of those tourists covered with oil.
Strummin' my six string on my front porch swing.
Smell those shrimp
They're beginnin' to boil.

Wasted away again in Margaritaville,
Searchin' for my lost shaker of salt.
Some people claim that there's a woman to blame,
But I know it's nobody's fault.

Don't know the reason,
Stayed here all season
With nothing to show but this brand new tattoo.
But it's a real beauty,
A Mexican cutie, how it got here
I haven't a clue.

Wasted away again in Margaritaville,
Searchin' for my lost shaker of salt.
Some people claim that there's a woman to blame,
Now I think, - hell it could be my fault.

I blew out my flip flop,
Stepped on a pop top,
Cut my heel, had to cruise on back home.
But there's booze in the blender,
And soon it will render
That frozen concoction that helps me hang on.

Wasted away again in Margaritaville
Searchin' for my lost shaker of salt.
Some people claim that there's a woman to blame,
But I know, it's my own damn fault.
Yes, and some people claim that there's a woman to blame
And I know it's my own damn fault.

Run, run...sprint to the bathroom during Desperation Samba with a little "culture" added in Hong Kong. It was the only alternative.

Luckily, there was NO line! :)

No No NO!!! I LOVE Begonia! Plus...when I saw him in concert for the first time - just a few years ago - I knew I liked his songs...but... he did a video tribute to Johnny Carson (who'd recently passed) and I was liking the guy. And then... he said, "I love it when Parrotheads and Deadheads get together!" and launched into "Uncle John's Band"

Sorry...

I missed the community feel of the Dead. And found it when he played that song and I discovered shortly thereafter with BN.
