I remember when we lived in Atlanta, it snowed there (barely enough to dust the grass). People went nuts....they drove 10 miles an hour. My mom had to go to the grocery, our neighbor said, "You're not going out in THIS are you ?" It's all in what you're used to !!!!

That reminds me of my cousins when we were young. They lived in Houston about 4 houses down from Grandma. I was visiting once during the winter and it started to sleet. They got all excited and ran out to play in it - they thought it was snow. I thought they were nuts. :lol:

We lived in Houston, too....for a year and a half. I remember wearing shorts outside on Christmas day one year. :o
And I also remember that you could live off stuff in the big ditches (we lived close to Chocolate Bayou). Crawfish, poke salad, dewberries (YUM), etc.!!! [smilie=gt-happyup.gif]
