Well you have my address.
But I am not worried, believe me I am not at all worried. I grew up in an inner-city, every day was survival for me with people twice as big and twice as small as you. The bigger they are the harder they fall.
Besides you wouldn't get past my pitbull anyway.

Great, thanks. All the spots are sold but there is one person who bought 10 and said he sent a check last week and it hasn't arrived yet so I won't close it until I get his check. 3 or 4 years ago I closed it before everyone sent their money, some fool had numbers 2, 8 and 9 so he said he wasn't paying because he didn't want those numbers...... the score was 19-18 after 3Q and the final was 32-29...he would have won both the 4thQ and final score....
It's been a pleasure tonight. all in good fun, at least on my end.

Just some early thoughts...
I think a big key to the game will be the Pats O-Line, the best in the league, vs. the Giants D-Line, one of the best in the league. If the Giants get pressure, it will be interesting.
As for the secondary, they definitely can play nickel. Their starters are Sam Madison and Aaron Ross and both have had solid years. Their 3rd CB is Corey Webster who lost his starting job to Ross after week 3, but has had a great play-offs. He started the 1st games and was the #1 CB going 1-on-1 with TO for much of the 2nd half. Aside from slipping while trying to jam Donald Driver on his 90 yard TD, he's played great. Their dime CB is RW McQuarters who made the game sealing INTs against Tampa and Dallas, and had another INT (which he then fumbled) against GB.
Their best safety is Gibril Wilson- covers pretty well, hits hard, good field coverage. Their weak link is probably the other safety James Butler. Hits hard, but has to play DEEP if they're going to play cover 2 because he's slow as molasses. On Driver's 90 yard TD Sunday, Butler was Webster's safety help, but Driver blew right by him so quick that Wilson had a better shot of catching him before the endzone.
As for the offense, they have to keep doing what they've been doing- low risk passes that make the receiver get the big yards after the catch. As for the running game, I'm hoping for a big dose of Ahmad Bradshaw. He didn't play against the Pats week 17, and no one has seemed to figure him out yet. Shifty runner who keeps his feet moving after he's hit and always seems to get 2-3 yards more than he's supposed to and keeps the D on their toes. Also blocks pretty well from what I've seen, better than Jacobs

Sometimes more than others,
we see who and what and where we are,
I'm just a one man band,
With my feet in the sand,
Tonight I just need my guitar

Not so sure about "low risk" passes for the Giants. I think that they are going to have to make some big plays (high risk plays) to put more points on the board then the highest scoring offense all time in the warm weather on a manicured field.jonesbeach10 wrote:Just some early thoughts...

The perfect plan on offense would to pound Jacobs and wear them down ( he is one huge RB)...then come in with Bradshaw to get the long runs!!!jonesbeach10 wrote:Just some early thoughts...

I thought i'd beat Ravi to it!!!!.....but it's hard to game plan against size and not getting beat up....even if he gets 1 yard gains....tackling him will take a toll eventually!!!...how would you like to be a safety taking him on 1 on 1??...i know it's the obvious answer to the Giants key....but they need to start there!!!drunkpirate66 wrote:SH*T! Until the Pats made it a two score game (14 - 0, 10 - 0 . . .) I would agree - - - make the oldest linebackers in football work early and often. Keep the ball out of the air and the clock ticking . . . run every play - - - perhaps a play action to that Shockey like tight end the Giants have . . . forget his name.TommyBahama wrote:I thought i'd beat Ravi to it!!!!.....but it's hard to game plan against size and not getting beat up....even if he gets 1 yard gains....tackling him will take a toll eventually!!!...how would you like to be a safety taking him on 1 on 1??...i know it's the obvious answer to the Giants key....but they need to start there!!!drunkpirate66 wrote:SH*T!
Also blocks pretty well from what I've seen, better than Jacobs![]()
ah . . . good times!
2nd half . . . Eli has got to hit those long passes - 20 yards +. Because as good as the Giants defense is, the Pats offense is that much better and will score alot on that field.
the hit and run is as good as any religion around this time of year . . .

I agree....but you need to try and keep the Patriots offense off the field....and hopefully they have success in the Running game!....if it becomes a passing wide open game...The Giants are dead!!!.....but i look back to the Pats/Rams Super Bowl, Patriots were a huge underdog in that game... so anything is possibledrunkpirate66 wrote:Until the Pats made it a two score game (14 - 0, 10 - 0 . . .) The Giants are going to have to find someone to help Burress. You know that the Pats are going to key in on that. The Giants are going to have to get Boss more involved in the long range passing attack to take some pressure the Pats are going to put on Burress.drunkpirate66 wrote:Until the Pats made it a two score game (14 - 0, 10 - 0 . . .) If you want an experience, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.
Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.
Life is short, live long!!
I'd rather be a wiseass than a dumbass.

Wonder if Samuel will get 1:1 coverage on Burress . . . or if Randall Gay and Harrison will form zone . . .aeroparrot wrote:The Giants are going to have to find someone to help Burress.
