They have a rookie named Steve Smith who was injured earlier in the year but they've been using him more often lately. And they still have Amani Toomer.

I thought Toomer was dinged up during the NFC Championship game.
If you want an experience, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.

Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

I may be wrong but I thought he was dinged. Steve Smith looked really good last week.

Even if it's only a 'ding' he'll be ready to go in the Super Bowl. And Smith has been playing a lot better and stepping into the #3 receiver slot nicely. On the Giants last drive during regulation Sunday, he made a couple of big catches to set up Tynes for what would have been the GW FG And their new TE is Kevin Boss, who's a big target for Eli and played well.

And by low risk, I meant a lot of the quick slants and buttonhooks that Eli can throw quickly before the blitz comes. Assuming it's caught, it's usually a 5-10 yard catch at worst. But if the receiver gets into open space, then it becomes a big play. The Giants 1st TD against Dallas was a quick slant to Toomer, who danced his way out of a couple tackles and then ran it into the endzone from there.

Sometimes more than others,
we see who and what and where we are,
I'm just a one man band,
With my feet in the sand,
Tonight I just need my guitar

ESPN ranks all the players in this year's SB.
http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/playoffs0 ... id=3210094

Seymour, I have always thought he was over-rated. he doesn't make that many plays, it could be because he is double teamed allowing others to make plays but I wouldn't have him 4th.

i disagree with the passing attack.....yes you need to throw the ball to keep the Patriots honest...but do you want to get into a shoot out with the Patriots!!...Run , Run and more run ...short passes....control the clock!!....you would like to see a few 8-9 minute drives!!

I would agree with you but I would like to add that the if the Giants can get a few long passes completed, then they could run the underneath routes you mention as well as getting more effect out of the run. I'm not saying that the Giants have to start out doing the first (this would be a disadvantage for them) but, as you said, to keep them honest.

Change that "Packers" to a "Cowboys" and you got my sentiments exactly. Kinda feel like I have to root for the Patriots seeing as how I'm from New England and I hate, Hate, HATE the Giants, but I think, two weeks from today, my interest will be on the beer and the commercials.

The one thing we haven't talked about, or at least I haven't noticed, is the Giants defense vs. the Pats offense. I know that the Pats offense had issues with their line had issues towards the end of the year with the blind side linemen (I think it was) being dinged up enough not to play that often (is it Light and I can't remember who else). This is the key. I think the Pats will try to use the scheme that Green Bay used.

Patriots leave Sunday for Arizona, the Giants don't leave until Monday. Wonder why they are waiting an extra day.
