I thought it was good but not the best.
It's hard to top Purple Rain in the rain from last year.
Paul McCartney a few years back was great too.
In fact I think they all been pretty good since nipplegate.
I love how they switched to McCartney because he was "safe".
Anyone who remembers the 60s would laugh at that...

but i think most people that survived the 60's don't remember anything!!!!

And FWIW? Most of the commercials were pretty lame this year. The "Tide To Go" stick and stain was funny.. a few good ones with Bud, the silly dancing lizards with the water... nothing that really made me go WOW!!!

No solid reasoning... hell, all of us in SD HATE Eli Manning.
I just look at the factors of Giants' very strong play of late, the intense pressure on Patriots to stay perfect,
and the setting of Phoenix' stadium which has hosted a number of upsets when visiting teams play there
well the scored only HALF of what I guessed they could
but I'm pleased to see that the ol' NFL saying, "on ANY given Sunday" still applies.
Bigtime congrats to the Giants for GETTING it done in THE overall toughest circumstances I can ever recall...
$#@&...only Vegas again?? Padres ...gotta start believin'!Bring on '14 Spring Training!
Pile it on, my team lost and I talked trash all season saying they wouldn't lose........ figured they were the best team and in the end they would not lose. It sucks that they lost, there is no hiding it. I am disappointed to say the least. They were a flawed team and it was apparent by the end of the season when they were squeaking by teams...but in the end I had no doubt they would be able to pull it out.... I was wrong! NY out played them today, it is not how you start but how you finish and the Giants were then best team when the season ended. Why the Patriots lost? I have no idea, I had plenty of reasons why they would win but they lost...... they just lost to they better team tonight. For Tom Coughlin I am happy, the guy was close to being fired last season and now he is a champion.
As a fan when your team doesn't wi9n it is easy to say so be it, I still have to work in the AM and they don't, but it doesn't make it any easier.....my team still lost regardless of what they are doing now.
In the end the team I stood behind all season fell short, when they won I was here and now that they lost I am here. The loss tonight is not in Aaron Boone Territory but it still stings.
The Giants are the best team in the NFL and they are the world champions.

Well, I won two quarters of my Superbowl squares so I'm happy.
My son was rooting for the Giants and nearly busted our eardrums with his squeals during the last minute of the game.

Nope.. no piling it on from me. Sorry the team you stood behind lost, but I do know the feeling. I still always stand behind my teams too.
I am one of the biggest trash talkers on this board, when my teams win I make sure everyone here knows it. My team lost....damn.... 2nd best is not good enough when you go 18-0 through January! It is easy to say that I am still going to make th same amount of money and do the same amount of work on Monday regardless of the outcome but my favorite team still lost and that sucks. I never thought the Patriots would lose, they did and I still have to work tomorrow, had they won it would have been a better work day!

I think there were a few people on here who made fun of me because I KNEW the Giants would win....proving you wrong is a pleasure!
And, in case you are wondering...my husband is proudly wearing the shirt I bought him!
(and yes, my husband is the envy of his friends! )

When you're undefeated up to this very day, it's not really trash-talk
It'd been 35 years since another team had been in a similar situation.
I wanted MY team to pull off the "upset" 2 weeks ago, but I knew it was a tall order.
Hats off to the Giants for toppling the Patriots today!
I can only daydream of what chance my team might have had playing in this game today.

Thanks for "manning up" (pardon the Eli reference)...most Patriots fans are about to go into hiding. Way to be a man about it!!!
