Same family owns it.
While snowboarding (15 minutes from home), I asked "why is this place so run down", they responded with "They're pouring all their money into their Wisconsin place".
I had no idea what they were talking about.
A week after Tinley Park last Summer I'm camping with my family at EAA Oshkosh, listening on RM to the Alpine concert, and I'm like, O.K. , now I get it!

Alpine Date

Post by WWJBD? »

Sooo.....I don't have access to Buffettnews at work. Anyone that can see this site during the day up for emailing me the news about Alpine if the date is announced during work hours? If so PM me and I will be forever in your debt. By forever I mean at least a few hours. By debt, I mean I will give you a beer at the tailgate.

The ski/golf resort are owned seperate from the music theater. They are only related in name and location.

Looks like someone posted that July 19 could be the big day..
Anyone confirm or deny?

After this horribly cold and snowy Chicago winter.. I need some warms thoughts of a summer day at Alpine with Jimmy right about now...

I'm in Janesville and right there with you - I've decided to believe this date for the time being just to make everything seem warmer!!
