I didn't realize how good the 1995 Cleveland Indians were. They won 100 games that year in a strike shortened 144 game season season.

manny ramirez, jim thome, vizquel on defense...

Talk about how great the Yankees lineup was top to bottom, especially when they had Sheffield, the Indians might have matched them.

Sometimes more than others,
we see who and what and where we are,
I'm just a one man band,
With my feet in the sand,
Tonight I just need my guitar

85 Celtics . . . no question.

The 86 Celtics were, in my opinion, the best team in NBA history. Yes, better than the Bulls team that won 72 games . . .

The only difference from 1985 to 86 was a guy named Bill Walton . . .

the rest of the team was the same . . . . therefore, without a doubt, the 1985 Celitics . . . .
the hit and run is as good as any religion around this time of year . . .
