Landshark swimmin' into PA

Post by tikitodd »

Sounds like Landshark Lager will be available in Pennsylvania by mid February. Just spoke to my brother in the Altoona area; he says billboards have been spotted. He spoke to his beer distributor and they claim Landshark will be permitted to be sold February 14.

The York Cheeseburger In Paradise is having a "Come Monday" party February 25 to introduce Landshark Lager.

Good thing its finally here. My 'smuggled-in-stash' is getting low!

Anyone seen any pricing? It was pretty expensive (for what you got) in NJ last summer.

When they started selling it in FLA last year it was $7.50-$8.00/6-pack in stores, $7/bottle at Margaritaville and $7/bottle at the concession stands at concerts. It was free in the parking lot at the Orlando concert in February and that was too expensive.

I had it in FLA and it was okay. Being as that I'm beginning the "holy-crap-bathing-suit-season-is-looming-and-I-have-a-spare-tire" diet, I can now rotate Landshark with Miller Lite. Since I am a beer girl. :D

I'd only rate Landshark as so-so. If it was $10.00/case I might buy it. Otherwise, if it ain't free, it ain't for me.

It is cheap at total wines in Delaware, saw it in the summer. $6.99 a six pack, didn't check the cases out, sorry

In Ocean City Maryland this past summer, it was the same price as Corona (by the case). While visiting Key West in June, I found Landshark for about a buck less than Corona by the six pack.

Your post has probably already been seen by Jimmy's "people" and word is JB is flying through the Caribbean this weekend looking for a rum distillery to add to the "Margaritaville" empire...... :D

And "BubbaRum" sounds perfect!!!!! You may want to get that name registered so JB has to call you for the rights to use it. Maybe score a couple of free concert tix, too...... :o

Getting back to Landshark Lager, I usually prefer ales, but find that JBs beer is an acceptable "summertime brew", not spectacular, but similar to Corona.... Nice that it will be available in PA, too.
