Three Mile Island is a few miles DOWNSTREAM, so sure, I
drink the tap water.

If I believe what they tell me, the city of Tacoma has the only and purest "naturally filtered" water in the U.S.
I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing although I suppose our children will let us know in the future.

I drink tap water. I consider it a good day when I get a wiff of chlorine with my first sip. Then I know the city is doing it's job!!!!!!

I'll have to agree with you - Seattle just confuses me. One of my doctors is at Harborview and I just hate to go there - it takes an hour to go 22 miles. There's only 3 things I don't like about WA - it doesn't get hot enough in the summer to enjoy a dip in the pool/lake/river/ocean. The cost of buying a home is outrageous and the women here are extremely cliquish and unwelcoming.

oh and Federal Way's water is AWFUL

I used to drink tap water in NEwcastle as I have done so since I was a kid, but when I moved to Sydney there was talk of an algae in the water and "it wont hurt you" - that was enuf for me to turn to bottled water

What part of Tacoma? We're actually in Auburn. We have the FW water because we're on the west hill.

one negitive of the bottled water generation is their teeth. Most cities add floride to their water supply...when kids don't drink tap, they lose out on floride...very bad results!
