Who are you/What do you do?

As you see, I'm relatively new to the board and have been trying to get a handle on who everybody is. Just when I think I have someone figured out, I discover that he is really a she (or visa versa), etc.
I realize some of you prefer to remain "anonymous", but for those who are willing, I'd love some info to go along with your posts.
Without getting too personal, how about:

Region/State/City
occupation
age (okay, that's optional)
