It really depends on what concert your going to :D

There's the MSG look
Image

Let's not forget the conservative look, didn't know who I was going to run into at Pittsburgh

Then there's always the hottest day of the millennium look

This is the reason I prefer to wait till the last week before the concert to do my shopping.

Well, since this will be my year that I will go to my first Buffett show I think that simple, but comfortable is the key to my success. For me, it will probably be shorts, a tropical shirt, and maybe flipflops if I can walk in them without falling on my face as I am such a cluts.

Liz,

You certainly can't go wrong with your planned "costume", but I have to admit that the post by BB33 just before yours gives some great alternative possibilities....... :D

And trust me, you'll see some other attire at your first show that will.....how do I say this??? Well, be sure to take your camera!!! [smilie=giggle.gif]

In the past I have had my "Jimmy outfit" shorts, tank top with Hawaiian shirt over it a lei, some beads. But I think this year I'm going to wear my "Lulus" T-shirt with her autograph that I got at MOTM instead of the Hawaiian shirt because I just love the color! Now I just need to know WHEN I'll be wearing it! 8)

For me, its just a shirt (either Margaritaville or Concert) and a pair of khaki's (shorts if hot enough).

I think I'm going to try getting a good Hawaiian shirt for this year though

a lot of skin..... :wench:

that was one miserable day unfortunately... last year I wore a linen top and some comfy khaki shorts and it poured rain. nothing fancy. I do like to get a new pair of "concert" flip flops.

My Margaritaville New Orleans Thirst Nurse shirt, short tan shorts, and my Reef flips (with the bottle opener on the sole). I also sport a positive attitude, a gleeful heart, and a liver ready to be punished.

Good points! In Michigan it can be 90 degrees one week and 50 degrees the next week, so if I were to plan my attire too far ahead of time, all my best laid plans would definitely be shot down.

<---------------- That is the dress I wore to the vegas and tampa shows. I wanted to wear a bikini top and hula shirt... but it was too cold at both shows!!!

In tallahassee in febuary it was a cool day. I wore a cotton dress, flipflops with margarita glasses on them and a jean jacket.

i always wear a lei.

This year I am looking for a new dress or two... AND a great bikini to wear at the hot shows. This year I would like to get to about 4 or 5 shows. I would like something different at each. But the dress I wore this year will be the standby.

Nothing beats a pair of rainbows for footwear.

You know, nothing beats flip flops. I still have a flip flop tan line on my feet.

If it's not too hot (like 95) I wear my white sport coat with a pink
crustaceon. Finding the white sport in a size 52 was easier than getting
the pink crustaceon. :pirate:
