If You Found Jimmy's Cell Phone....

Post by Bfan53 »

I think I remember a while back hearing a story about JB losing his personal cell phone. Well, even if he didn't, let's just say he did......

How would you go about returning it to Jimmy???? :pirate:

I'm in the book, Jimmy. Come and get it.

Oh, and bring the band with you. :pirate:

I'd give it back on two conditions...

1.) That I got to deliver it in person

2.) (Once I programmed my phone number into it) That he had to call me on occasion to chit-chat.

I will ask that I only have to pay the face value of all future shows. No facility, convenience, order processing fee, and taxes this way a 60.00 ticket won't cost me 72.00.

Just kidding, I would contact his people and let them tell me what to do with the property. Most likely drop it off at a police station to do a found property report and his people can retrive the phone from there.

Well, having almost misplaced my cell phone numerous times, I would want someone to return my phone. If I were to find Jimmy's phone I would firsst program my number into the phone, and then I would turn it in to the police where they could contact his people to come and get it. The thing is they are making cell phones smaller and smaller all the time, so it would not be hard to leave a cell phone somewhere or forget you have it and lose the stupid thing.

a) true story, about 2 years back I think
b) look for an ICE # in case it isn't a PDA/smartphone with owner info in it. Use the contact info, and make arrangements for it to be delivered.

I'd return it and I wouldn't put my number in it. I'm a fan, he's not my friend. Why would I expect him to call me?

That's what I do, too. It's kind of fun. At concerts I usually find a phone or two and like to play detective and see if I can get the phones back to them before I leave. Yes, alcohol is usually involved by that time.

I don't know that I could operate Bernd's cell phone if I found it, come to think of it. All the directions are probably "in German".... :D

I did find a cell phone in the park last summer. Tried to call someone in the address book but the phone was locked. After a day thinking about what to do, I called 911 (works even on a locked phone). I told them I needed the number I was calling from. Then I called the cell and left a voice mail with my number. Luckily, the owner was still checking his voice mails.

Like others have said, I'd look for a home or ICE number, call it, and return the phone, no strings attached. If the phone was locked, I'd email RM or M'Ville and make arrangements to return it. I'd hope someone would return mine if I lost it.
