quick question -

I'm looking for a nice sipping tequila, something more sophisticated than patron and I recall seeing entries you've authored that gave me the impression you possessed some experience with this. Any cost concuss suggestions?

Thanks man!
All good tequilas will be 100% blue agave
For a sipping tequila you probably will prefer an anejo or reposado.

My absolute favorite is Milagro Select Barrel Reserve Anejo
it is not available everywhere, and it usually runs about $110 a bottle

One that is available most places that I really like is Don Julio Anejo.
costs about the same as Patron anejo, and I think it is much smoother

If you prefer a reposado to an anejo, Cabo Wabo is available everywhere and is pretty good.
I guess I'm not too far away; Actually, I have an unopened bottle of the Milagro SBR Reposado, not Anejo (Don't know what I'm waiting for). I have had Cabo since Walgreen's puts on sale regularly.

I will have to try the Don Julio and Milagro SBR Anejo, but I was unable to find it down here that's why we got the Rep.

Thanks for the heads up!

During he Tampa tailgate somebody offered a shot of SBR to us, the girls loved the bottle. So I looked around, found a bottle as a hostess gift for one of them, but the wife thought it was a little over the top. Now it sits in a cool dark spot waiting for the right opportunity; I guess

that bottle has that effect on anyone who sees it. HOU last year, Shannon killed about a quarter of a bottle of SBRA to keep the one she has. :D
