I'm not going to the MSG show, but I will be at the first show of the tour in Grand Rapids. I am really looking forward to this show. Tom Petty and the Heart Breakers put on one hell of a concert, and Steve Winwood is the opening act for this tour.

Wanna go to as many shows as we can! On a weekend is preferred!
But that's a Tuesday!
Definitely going to Raleigh and Charlotte!
Gonna try for Woodlands in Texas on Monday!

The most Tom Petty and the Heart Breakers shows that I went to in one year was 10 shows, and that was in 2003. Four of those shows were at the VIC Theater in Chicago. Wow, that was an incredible week. That theater holds approximately 1400 people. It was not a greatest hits week at all. Since it was a smaller venue they played what ever they wanted to play. Oh, it was fantastic! When they play the stadium shows it is the hits, but it has to be. Either way you slice it they have never failed me the 34 times I have seen them.

I am looking forward to hearing him play the halftime show today at the Superbowl!
