Still don't have any info. I'm hoping they've got some security camera footage and that they are keeping a tight lip on info. Otherwise it sounds like they don't have anything to go on. The person they are looking for is merely someone in the vicinity at the time from an eyewitness account that raised suspicion. No word on what led the witness to believe this person was THE person who comitted the crime.

I was in a Target this afternoon when some older woman removed her oxygen mask long enough to distort alot of the facts - telling the casier there was a shooting at a Target in Orland Park and the gunman was on the roof still . . . .

AS BufitonmyBMW will attest that area is not known for problems let alone problems of this nature . . . very affluent area for the most part.

The biggest concern as I look at it is it could have been about anyone and time was working against them. THat strip mall is tucked in the corner of a highway interchange. The gunmen could have been long gone by the time anyone got there . . .

Store didn't have security cameras... As Matt says, TP is very nice area, and not known for things like this.

Used to live in Tinley Park until 2000, before moving to NC. That Target store, 7300 191st St, I don't think was even built back then, always went to the one in Oland Park. So yeah, that's probably all in a nice area of Tinley Park... or at least in a newly built area.

Sorry for the victims.

I lived there for awhile and my sis currently lives in orland hills and her dd works in target. Scary stuff. Not a typical robbery either. I can't imagine if he wanted to rob the store it would have been necessary to kill five people to get the money.

No., but she lives about 60-70 miles from Tinley Park.

Tonight's news said there is an eyewitness, and, apparently someone that survived--both are providing info to the police.

They are saying it appears to be an armed robbery gone bad.

WOW this morning was a bit tragic. The woman killed here from Joliet is a pastor or active member in our daycare providers church. Using guilt by association, our daycare provider are salt of the earth type of people and I would only assume the same of this young woman. She was the store manager I believe . . .

PHIN power and Prayers . . .

The initial reports were 5 people shot and killed. There was never a mention of the 6th victim and this is believed to be by design. The 6th shooting victim was released from the hospital yesterday morning.

There were reports the suspect may have been spotted in Southern Michigan. Including the story of the 6th victim and a suspect sighting in Michigan leads me to believe Law Enforcement have more on this case then they are letting the media and public know.
