If people thought this was bad they should complain about the people on

the street. Baby pictures, nude ones now that is shamefull.

(Itzel) Vargas, a resident of Panama, said the Abercrombie & Fitch ads didn’t offend her.

“I don’t mind if they want to show naked guys because they show naked women everywhere,” she said, pointing down to the Victoria’s Secret store. “What about the Victoria’s Secret commercials on television? That is much worse than the Abercrombie & Fitch ads.”
what she said.

I think America as a whole needs to LIGHTEN UP. It's a BODY. EVERYONE has one. If we weren't so uptight about nudity and sex and talking to our kids about sex we wouldn't have half of the sex crimes we do.

I don't believe showing the body would decrease the amount of sex crimes. Women aren't being abused because boys/men want to "see what's under there".

There's a better case made that the less women are put in a position/used as objects for men, the more sex crimes will reduce. Too many times women are portrayed as only having value as mens pleasure objects.

As for the uptight, righteous people, I don't believe the majority of them are judging, it's just that for people who prefer modesty, there's nowhere to hide if naked bodies are just plastered up in public. What happens to their rights if it's just foisted upon them? Where's their choice?

In order to fully comprehend the context of the story, I'm gonna need to see the picture of "a topless woman with her hand covering a portion of her breast"...

Here's a thought.....people complained about the ad?

Here in Baltimore we have a store called "Spencer's". Actually "Spencer's Gifts" I think....well when I was a teen they had gag gifts, maybe some dirty cards, whoopie cushions, funny t-shirts, bumper stickers, that sort of thing. My parents would be shopping and my sis and I would go there, look at stuff, laugh...no big deal.

My sister informs me that now, 10 years later, they are selling dildos. Not behind a counter or a half wall or hidden in any way. Like, there's a t-shirt, oh look, next to it a dildo out on the counter. Right out in the open in a regular mall frequented by all ages of people. Again, not concealed in ANY way. Even she was shocked, and believe me, it takes ALOT to shock her.

I do not get offended easily, but if I did, I'm thinking dildos being sold in a regular mall store would offend me more than some kids in an ad wearing more than most people these days.

If they get offended by that, they should definitely stay far far away from the A&F in the Pentagon City Mall just outside of DC.
