You say some funny stuff at 6 am!
Seriously, if JB comes to Detroit, you'd better get the guest room ready! (or let me pitch a tent beside your lake 8) )

This is year 2 of the 3year plan Jimmy put us on, so I not holding my breath. However no part of the country needs the local Buffett boost to the economy like we do.

I would take anything I could get- 1 show at all ready sold out Pine Knob or I still think a Comerica Park show would be real fun

Detroit can go to Hell. Corrupt mayor, completely oblivious electorate. Detroit makes New Orleans look like a model city government.

Jimmy, you can come to Traverse City. There's a cool new ballpark that seats about 10,000 so, with teh floor, you could get 15,000 plus people. Plus, Traverse City is beautiful. You can go for a sail on Grand Traverse Bay, or, if you come in September, you can go fly fishing for salmon and steelhead.

The ballpark in Grand Rapids seats 15,000. Grand Rapids, again, is MUCH nicer than Detroit.

I used to love Detroit but currently it the rotting cornerstone of the State of Michigan. As a lawyer, watching the Mayor of Detroit walk away from brazen perjury is exemplary of the current rotten state of SE Michigan which is draggin down the rest of the State.

No, I don't want to swim in a roped off sea.

Our last corrupt mayor did take a fishing trip on Lake Michigan.
Smiling for the press with his catch (w/o release), it never occured to him that even hizoner needed a fishing license !
'Ol Coleslaw got out of that one somehow, maybe some of those Kruegerands did the trick.

As of yesterday, the Kwamster still was listed as a member of Michigan's State Bar.
The nation's loudest mouth litigater has volunteered his un-solicited efforts in Mr. mayors defence on (shock of all shocks) the radio& T.V. media.
Last time I talked with him he defended his career choice with " If you doctor types would just police your own properly there would be no need for our profession"
Yeah, right Geoffry.

Don't know 'bout you, but I wouldn't even let Kilpatrick be a member of MY bar, and that's just a few stools and no real Margarator!

With one Keet on her own in Chicago, and the middle one planning on year-round college (only way to work your junior and senior year as a CFI), you can have TWO guest rooms!
One for you, and one for Brother Snow.

hell if jimmy is playing again in tallahassee you all should come down... northwest flys cheap into tally, although you have to connect in memphis.

Tallahassee is a drinkin town with a football problem. We can handle ourselves some 20 thousand parrotheads.

Orlando does have the Mouse and a warmer winter I guess.
I've offered our hospitality to hundreds over the years, but for some reason the travelers we've met from all over the world seem to skip Detroit.
I wonder if "Santa" Wayne has the same problem?

Looks like Northwest and Delta are SERIOUS about the merger.
Wonder where we'd have to change then!

Last time was a rainy September.
If we want to look good, it should be July or August.
I know, picky picky.
But, if we must dream, why not REALLY dream it right!
