I went back through the news from last year and I see the first confirmed announcement of dates and tour name for the Bama Breeze Tour was February 16th.

Was it that long? Has it not always, for the most part been around the third week of January?
I know I have almost ALWAYS purchased my Pittsburgh tickets the same day as the St Pat's day parade

I didn't include the early Florida shows because those were still part of the "Part at the End of the World" tour, not the "Bama Breeze" tour.
Soon....soon....

Last year, the first hint of a date for Tinley Park was the actual ad for the ticket sale--I spotted it in the Friday newspapers, and tickets went on sale the following Monday. I know it was in February because we had the tour date before Cubs tickets went on sale, so based on that, it should be very soon.

Ahhhh ... that means it won't be long until the scalper bashing / ticket broker defending / Ticketmaster/bast@rd posts begin !!!!!! I predict 2, maybe even 3 people here will not get tickets ** and the annual search for scapegoats will kick into high gear soon.
** no seriously - 15,002, maybe 15,003 people will want to get into a 15,000 seat pavilion leaving 2 or 3 on the outside looking in - honest - its a conspiracy I tell you!

Yep we are very close. I've never seen the majority of a summer tour go on sale in April. I really wish that were the case though. February is a big spending month for me. Then I have to prepare for that day! (and it sucks)

I thought Hannah Montana Moms were bringing down the entire scalper industry.
