I would think that it would be that Saturday too!!

That Saturday would be great. I am headin to Philly on 6/14 so that would be 2 shows in 2 weeks!

How about Jones Beach Labor Day weekend? The new report is Great Woods the weekend after Labor Day so why not a Jones Beach / Mohegan sun Labor Day weekend swing before Great Woods? In 04 he played Jones beach Labor day weekend just before the Fenway shows.

Labor Day would work...except that's a depressing time for me since it means back to work! The 28th is awesome since it's the day after the LAST day of work!! Either way, we need a JB @ JB SHOW!!

I'm getting nervous. A few more date have been posted. Looks like July is filling up. I haven't seen anyone on here for a while. What's the consensus? Still 6/28 or 7/5? There is still a two week window between Philly & 6/28. Could be anywhere (other then 6/21) in between.[/quote]

Okay. I'll take that. It's a bit selfish, but I really want it to be a Saturday. I think 2006 was the first Sat. there in a long time and it was great.

Sorry, I take that back. I wasn't there in 2004 (new baby). It was a Sat. I also think it may have been Labor Day weekend. 2000 and '04 were weekdays.

I've checked "Live Nation" every day... so far, nothing! Well, gotta finish packing for FL. Mom and I are heading down to Tamarak tomorrow for a few days to take care of my aunt. The refrigerator is stocked with food-which means that my husband and teenage son will go out to eat every night! Dare I dream that I don't return home to a sink filled with dirty dishes?

The laptop's coming along for the ride.. my gateway to the outside world.

Whenever Jones Beach is....... I am so in.

Meeee too! I was just down at the beach yesterday, gazing longingly at the amphitheater and the Zach's Bay parking lot, envisioning it filling up with tiki bars, buzzing blenders, pirate flags, shark fins, BN flags, decked-out RVs....I'm so there!

That sounds wonderful, daydreamin a bit, here. Please no June 28th, Doc's sister is getting married in Intercourse, Pa. I am in the wedding, and will be kicked out of the family, if I don't show, hoping for another weekend.

We have all been trying to work every connection we have at the State to find out if there is talk of a show this summer. All we can get so far is the same as everyone here is saying. Just counting on the pattern of every other year.

Someone mentioned the fireworks in 2002. I actually work for the company that shot that show, my brother was one of the technicians. It was a surprise anniversary present to Jimmy from his wife and after the show he met with the whole pyro crew.

He was really great about it and was really impressed with the show!!

Nice job...that was a great fireworks display and a huge surprise. Before we knew what was going on I kept looking over that way wondering what everyone was doing along the highway and on the beach with flashlights and wondering why they were closing the Ocean Parkway..lol. Made for a great Intermission. I think she should surprise him again this year!!!

i'm keeping my fingers crossed for a JB show... i had so much fun in 2006

I think it is a given he will do at least two shows in the NE at least in addition to the already scheduled Great Woods shows in early September. Jones Beach, Mohegan Sun, MSG, Toronto??.... As I said before, I bet Jones Beach Labor Day Saturday of Weekend followed by a Tuesday show at Mohegan Sun or Toronto then onto Great Woods.
