In 1998 he played the Garden in February and Jones Beach in the summer. Two years ago he played Jones Beach at the end of June and the Garden in mid-September. It's not out of the question to do both venues again.

however, i can see buffett announcing a jones beach date after he has the msg tickets go on sale. everyone would want to go to jones beach and not msc!! he should just do 2 dates at jones and none at msc

He hasn't done 2 shows at Jones Beach since 1993. If it was one of those 20,000-25,000 capacity outdoor venues, maybe, but it only seats about 14,000 so I don't see him doing 2 shows there again.
I was asked by the webmaster at the site that listed the info to verify if I had found the same info. Afterall I did give them the last 2 Cali dates. He was concerned that this could be a April fools prank. I haven't seen it on the "hidden" links yet. I'm not saying that it's not true, I'm just saying that I can't confirm or deny the Jones Beach show at this point.

Well seeing as how I now have tickets to MSG on June 12 and AC on Aug 24, not sure how I feel about there being a Jone Beach Show...which is where I really wanted to be to begin with!

Me too . . . I have tickets for AC and am taking off that following Monday. Taking off the Friday in that same week, or Thursday for the tailgate, just won't be feasible.

Yeah, I hear you. Just take a 1/2 day, get there around 2 or 3. Not as good as all day, but better than nothing.
What a way to end the summer if this is true. Jones Beach, and then GW on the 6th.
so, is there a show or not??? The other website still lists it, but this one does not......guess we will find out for sure in 11 days when tickets are supposed to go on sale
