The other website now lists it as a "rumoured" show. If is to be I would think the announcement would come by Thursday the latest.

If this is true, and I get tickets, I may be selling my GW Saturday tickets.

Ugggh. I would love to go to Jones Beach but since we are going to AC and GW I don't think we could also swing Jones Beach that close to the other dates. Aside from the money issue - I am not as young as I used to be! I wish he would do JB earlier in the summer.

Aside from not being as young as you used to be (I'm in the same boat)
Jones Beach is one of the venues we're going to w/out tix in hand. We'll spend the day in the lot & the beach, then listen to the show on Sirius. Unless, of course, we get really good seats, otherwise just come & hang out. 8)

I'd like to do this too....everytime we've been to the beach, there have been people selling cheap tix in the parking lot, but even if we don't get tickets, I'm cool with hanging in the lot and listening to the show! Jones Beach is only 10 minutes from home, so no big deal for us!! :D

This is true....it's about an hour drive for us so not too bad. I don't know if I could talk hubby into that but we shall see..........

Plus, you've got bathrooms with a lot less people waiting on line in the lot, you can continue enjoying some drinks if you choose (especially since you can't get any in the amphitheater) And you could hop in the bay! No SWI please :)

Haven't seen any proof of that. Still seems like wishful thinking to me.

I have to say that Jones Beach was the site of our first JB concert and although we have tickets to MSG and to AC, if one is announced I'd try my best for tickets.

well tickets were supposed to go on-sale a week from today, so we'll find out one way or another this week.

Sometimes more than others,
we see who and what and where we are,
I'm just a one man band,
With my feet in the sand,
Tonight I just need my guitar
