What an advertising campaign you could have for something named "Lone Palm" :D
Market it to the pocket protector wearers of the world - Can't get a date Saturday night, have a Lone Palm.
Thaaaaaaaaat's why you wish they'd start selling it in stores... now I get it!  :D

Hmmm -since we all assume this then wouldn't that mean tomorrow would be when people least expect it?

Seriously I don't think he'll be there tomorrow. But you never know..

Just got back from the Mohegan Sun M'ville special opening. Had a blast, the free food and drink were great as well as the crowd. Jimmy did not show, though we were told he had been there on Wed but quite few people checking things out The setting itself was OK, but I thought they could have done more with it,. My wife thought the one in KW was better and she is not a huge PH. I would like to see it again when it it set up for a restaurant and not a party to get a better feel. There is one bar up stairs that seems out of place stuck in a corner.

Jim he was there Thursday and Friday according to a few waitresses.....it was nice...but a lot smaller then i thought it would be...i thought they were going to have a huge deck overlooking the river....but it's Margaritaville and it's in my backyard so overall pretty happy..one disappointment...they could of had a band with a little more tropical flair...they were good....but not what i would of booked for a opening!!

I am pretty sure I drank my weight in booze tho!! Had a blast!
Food was pretty good. That huge ugly thing that was suppose to be a Nor'easter was stupid. I thought it was going to be bigger too. I still think the Orlando one is the best.

Just got home from the official opening. Met Miles Hampton and Steve Huntington. It was a lot of fun. I had the jambalaya which was really good. If you like boat drinks, try the Bama Breeze.

I agree the Nor'Easter thing could have been better. Plus it's supposed to spin COUNTERclockwise. I thought the tequila bottle coming down pouring into the blender was pretty cool. The video clip with Jim Cantore proclaiming a "weather emergency" was corny enough to be funny.

Very similar. The warning just said "Party Warning". And as you can see the "storm" is spinning the wrong way. I know, I know - I'm being picky. But that's just who I am

Sounds great! Lil Salty and I were in Myrtle Beach this summer and were the first ones into the cafe one Saturday morning. We stayed all day. I can't wait to visit Mohegan Sun. We are going in November whether Jimmy is there or not :D

I was just going to post a new topic and see if we can plan a meet up at Margaritaville in Mohegan Sun. We are going to MOTM so the first weekend in November is out - perhaps later in the month so we don't have too much of a let down from MOTM.

Has anyone heard anything about a show this year at Mohegan? I am thinking it's definitely getting late in the year to announce something, but that's just me.

I was at the Margaritaville there yesterday, and it reminded me to ask you all.

Thanks!

We really should get a phone tree sort of thing for people who are going. I'm only forty five minutes away and if I got the time, definitely be up for meeting people there.
