Curtain or Door?

Post by SMLCHNG »

For your bathtub? Which do you have?

I like shower doors better, but shower curtains are fun to choose from. :)

We currently have this shower curtain in our apartment. :D

Doors ..... we don't even have a tub in the master bath any more.
We re-did the bathroom a few years ago - had the tub ripped out and replaced it with a full-size shower. Room enough for 2!

The upstairs hall bathroom does have a shower curtain .... no idea any more what pattern it is 'cause I rarely go in there and don't pay attention to it when I do.

My apartment has no doors so I do a clear liner for my curtain.

I never have understood why the shower/tub area of a bathroom is not lit

very well. If you have a fabric curtain and a liner it is awfully dark.

I shave in the shower so I want all the light I can get.

Shower curtain in the main bathroom.

Shower door in the bathroom in our bedroom. We found a corner sliding shower door, custom built our own shower and tiled it. It's actually big enough for..ummm....4. Not that we've tested that of course.

We have doors, but we may take them out when we redo the bathroom. You just can't clean them without being inside, and even plain vinegar will make you gag in that sized space.

Doors in both showers.

The downstairs one was there when we moved in, the upstairs one I had put in myself.

A "helpful hint" that will make cleaning them easier... after you have washed the shower doors, apply a coat of car wax. The water will bead up and roll right off, not leaving the water spots behind.

We did the same thing when we built on, no tub in the master.....just a HUGE shower with glass doors....14 people, a baby and two dogs, that's the current record.

I've had a door my whole life. A few years ago, I was in a hotel with a curtain. Being that I had never used a curtain before, I had no clue that I needed to be sure the curtain was on the outside of the shower!

You can guess what a surprise I got when I got when I stepped out of the shower! :D

We have doors on both our tub/shower and my master bedroom shower. I like buying shower curtains 'cause they are cute-n-stuff, but alas, no curtains for us.

Curtains at home. Prefer them to doors. More fun and I hate cleaning the doors. Goo always collects in the tracks and they seldom close properly.

Curtain you replace or throw in the washer.

Have only a shower at the cabin with doors. Would prefer to have a tub too.

I love my new air tub at home. Can't wait for my bath tonight. :D
