Wasnt in the plans, but that could change!!! Do you have any more info on that? Where at, and what time?DrinkingInDover wrote:We were going to leave on the Monday morning, but i see that the Sauce Boss is playing in Buffalo on Sunday afternoon, so i think we are going to leave a day early, check that out, and stay somewhere in the area for the night. Anyone from Buffalo going to that?
Maybe we would meet up with you.....
...ok, wait, I just pulled up the schedule and it looks like 3 pm at Rhinos, where I will be this Friday eve to see Pirate Dreams!
That is right near my house. couple miles....
I would have to say that we can do that!!
There are a few motels really close by. (with a Lucky's hot dog place right next to it.......)

I've been to their website, and was looking around. I was going to call them to see if i could get a few tickets set aside, as i won't be in the area prior to the show. I could just get them at the door I suppose. I clicked on your link and got the Red Carpet Inn, which is a place I was looking at. A mile or so down the road. I think the rate i had was $60. How is this bar? Been to it before?

It's not bad. They do have an outside patio. It is mostly a biker bar, except when they have events like this one.
I have been there a few times recently. They have a menu also.
There is a bar close by (15 minutes away or so) that is mostly outside. Nice summer place on the lake. It is called the Dock at the Bay. Could go there afterwords.

I will check it out Friday, ask around to see if they have already sold a lot of tickets for this event. I wouldnt think that it would be something that would sell out..... how many people in your group??
Maybe the other ppl coming from Canada will come too!

Unfortunately I have to work @7 am for 2 hours on the Monday. The other girl that does my job is on holidays so I have to open the bank that day. You should see the hoops I had to jump through just to get the Tuesday and Wednesday off.alaura1974 wrote:My husband has to work Sunday, but only till 3, so we could definitely do that.DrinkingInDover wrote:That could be a good plan...it's not like we have to work on Monday...alaura1974 wrote:It's not bad. we stayed there last year also.... the one with the green "pool" that was closed.... we stayed there because we couldnt get the HI Weirton, which is where we are this year. it is only like 6 miles away from the PGPcaly wrote:I finally figured it out.
We stayed in Steubenville, Ohio last time and drove in to the HI. That HI is where we are staying this time, but the pre party has moved to the HI Express which is 10 minutes away.
Thank God for google map!
